The Proust Questionnaire has its origins in a parlour game popularized by Marcel Proust, the French essayist and novelist, who believed that, in answering these questions, an individual reveals his or her true nature. These questions are interesting to answer for yourself, but make sure to answer as many of these questions for your main character. Of course, if you have time, you can continue doing this for every character. If you don’t have a character yet, you can use them to create one a question at the time.
