OBJECT OF INTRIGUE
In this exercise we will write about an intriguing object without telling the actual reason that makes it so special. Withholding information and slowly revealing it, is a great technique to keep your readers captivated throughout your story.
DON’T MAKE A SOUND
The bad guy is trying to figure out if there are children hiding in the house. The owner of the house knows where they are and so does the reader but is trying to convince the bad guy that he knows nothing.
